Assessments for Alcohol and Other Drug Use: completed upon request from an individual, family member, employer, or criminal justice system.  Performed by an Ohio Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and utilized for level of care recommendations. 

STEPs - a 12-hour education and intervention program for adults.  Facilitated by Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors and utilized to assist clients in a self-assessment regarding their use of alcohol or any other drug. Recommendations for further treatment will be made if need is indicated by information gathered from client.  When such recommendations are made, the staff will assist the client, if desired, in securing services from other providers.

MRT (Moral Reconation Therapy) - an assisted self-help approach for clients dealing with a variety of issues regarding recovery; particularly geared for offenders.  Groups occur weekly; are gender specific; facilitated by trained personnel. 

Driver Intervention Program – 72-hour residential program for 1st time DUI offenders providing education, intervention and lifestyle change recommendations, if needed.  The program is facilitated by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors and persons in other related-fields.

Alcohol and Other Drug Education10 hour education program to provide appropriate information based on current research. 

Family Education and Support  -  weekly sessions to provide information and assistance to family members of persons with an alcohol and/or drug problem. The sessions are conducted by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. 

Criminal Justice Collaboration:

  • Allen County Treatment Court Coordination:419-234-1174

  • Municipal Court Screening Program: level of service screenings for individuals as requested by a municipal court judge. Provided by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor utilizing the Level of Service Inventory-Revised.  Results are submitted to the court for consideration in case dispositions.
